Carl Taylor, former County Supervisor

I served eight years as County Supervisor for District One.  I understand the job and the opportunities it presents for improving lives and conditions in our wonderful area.  It also means that I am choosy about recommending candidates for County Supervisor. I have known and worked with Bryan Bates for years and am enthusiastic about his willingness to serve as Supervisor for District Four.  In my experience, he is thoughtful, judicious and deeply caring about our environment, our educational system and social justice for the citizens of our County. He has extensive experience and contacts with the Native American community – which is essential to serve that District in an effective way.  His background as a teacher, including years at Coconino Community College, gives him insight into issues and opportunities for educating people in ways that produce good citizens and good contributors to the economy of the region. I, and my wife Holly, urged Bryan (and Barbara) to take the step of declaring his candidacy for District Four and we are very supportive of him in the role. I urge folks to get to know Bryan and then to cast their vote for this excellent and highly qualified man!
