Our community consists of citizens with different perspectives. Though we may not agree on all issues, we can agree that we need leaders who will listen to different perspectives and act in the best interest of our community. That’s why I support Bryan Bates for County Supervisor.

I’ve always voted for the candidate and not the party. I vote for the character of the candidate. I vote for a unifying platform rather than divisive policies. Thereby, governmental functions and services move forward and goals are achieved. Our tax dollars are effectively and efficiently spent supporting our community. At eighteen. I took my responsibility to be an informed voter seriously, as I do today. I’m proud to mail my ballot in early and support candidates who have been community leaders.

Bryan Bates is an experienced community leader as shown by his 2013 Viola Award for Excellence in Science Education, his designing and building the first awarded Sustainable Building in Coconino County, working to preserve Flagstaff’s dark skies, Chairing the VII Oxford International Conference on Archaeoastronomy followed by founding the Society for Cultural Astronomy in American Southwest, and retiring as an Emeritus Science Professor at Coconino Community College. His leadership here and in other realms provide the skills we need in a County Supervisor.

I encourage everyone in District 4 to vote for and support Bryan Bates, an ethical and trustworthy candidate for Coconino County Supervisor.  More information is available at www.bryanbates4coconino.com.
